Whimsical blooms, sweet details, and so much love
Some showers just radiate thoughtfulness and beauty—and Victoria’s baby shower was one of those events that felt dreamy from start to finish. Held at Gemelli's at Bergen Point Country Club in West Babylon, the space was transformed into a soft, sweet Baby in Bloom celebration filled with dusty blue florals, thoughtful activities, and so much love.
Guests were greeted by a custom flower box welcome sign and the star of the room—an eye-catching “Baby in Bloom” backdrop wall, flanked by two floral arches in dreamy shades of blue and white. Created by Danielle from Arch Amore, the arches stood over 7 feet tall and made for the most beautiful photo moments.
Danielle shared, “We wanted something whimsical but simple—a mix of dusty blue, soft white, and light blue roses to feel both sweet for a baby boy and elegant for a glowing mom-to-be.”
When it comes to statement rentals, Danielle shared this advice: “Think about the colors and details that reflect your style, and don’t be afraid to personalize it—whether that’s a favorite quote, a custom bow, or a pop of texture. And always place it somewhere guests will see the moment they walk in.”
Inside, the tables were styled with blue cheesecloth runners, clear acrylic table numbers, and bud vases with petite matching blooms. Everything felt light, cohesive, and completely on-theme.
Victoria said one of her favorite parts of planning was bringing her vision to life through the details: “I had such a clear picture of what I wanted, and watching it all come together that morning honestly blew me away. It felt exactly like I imagined.”
And of course, what’s a shower without a little fun? But instead of traditional games, Victoria added creative, interactive touches that her guests loved. A baby sock hunt, a wishing bear filled with notes for baby, and family tradition cards all added meaning and memory to the day.
One of the biggest crowd-pleasers? The Bloom Bar! Guests got to hand-pick fresh flowers and build their own mini bouquets to take home—such a fun and meaningful activity. As Victoria shared, “The bloom bar was such a favorite—everyone got to build their own bouquet to take home.” It was the perfect blend of favor and fun, and tied perfectly into her Baby in Bloom theme.
There was also a sweet “Mom or Dad?” game at the tables, light-up BABY letters for a pop of fun, and a diaper raffle to help stock up the essentials
And while the day was filled with beauty, Victoria shared one especially emotional moment that made everything real:
“When I stood up front next to my baby’s godmother while she announced the winners of the activities, I looked around the room and just felt overwhelmed—in the best way. I saw the faces of the people who love me and realized… this is my village. They’re already surrounding my son with love.”
From soft florals to sweet traditions, every inch of this shower was filled with intention. Victoria—thank you for letting me capture the joy, the love, and the blooming start of your next chapter.
