SPRING FLORALS AND TIMELESS DETAILS AT TELLERS.
There’s something so special about a room filled with love, laughter, and color—and Carissa’s bridal shower at Tellers was just that. With a theme of Love in Bloom, the whole day was bright, joyful, and beautifully detailed, from the bud vase centerpieces to the show-stopping flower wall.

came to life thanks to Chelsea from House of Chelsea. Carissa gave her full creative freedom, requesting a floral-forward vibe—and Chelsea delivered with the perfect balance of dainty spring varietals and soft textures. She told me the entire event started with the flowers, and from there, everything bloomed (pun intended).
Two of the most memorable design moments were the single-stem floral photo backdrop and the bud vase seating chart. Guests were greeted with the seating chart the moment they walked in—a clean, eye-catching setup that set the tone for what was to come. The backdrop was something Chelsea hadn’t done before, which made it all the more special. “Not only did both turn out beautiful,” she said, “but I really enjoyed the creative process of designing something new.”
And of course, Carissa looked absolutely beautiful. She wore a stunning lace dress from Revolve and paired it with accessories from her very own boutique—What A Girl Wants in Wantagh! I love when brides bring something personal into their day. PSA: Future brides, this is the best spot for all the accessories and clothes!
When I asked Carissa what her favorite moment was, she said, "Realizing everyone I love and who is important to me was in the same room—all for me." It’s such a simple but powerful reminder of what these moments are really about.
As far as advice for other brides planning their own shower? "Don’t overthink it. Remember what’s truly important to you on that day. For me, it was savoring every moment and enjoying myself."
And truly, that’s exactly what she did.
Chelsea said it best, “A bridal shower should be all about the bride and what she envisions for the day. A planner is there to bring those ideas to life and take away the stress—so the bride can actually enjoy it.”
This shower was the perfect mix of fresh florals, thoughtful design, and genuine joy. I’m so grateful I got to be a small part of it!
