A Celebration Filled with Blooms, Bubbles, and the Sweetest Surprises
Sophia’s shower was such a perfect reflection of her! It was thoughtful, elegant, and filled with so much love. Held at Indian Hills Country Club in Suffolk County, every little detail came together in the prettiest way.
With a last name like Lamarca, you just know Prosecco had to be part of the theme and Sophia and her girls ran with it! There were La Marca Prosecco bottles everywhere! They served as the cutest favors at each seat, as part of the centerpieces topped with fresh blooms, and of course at the bubbly Prosecco bar, complete with juices and mixers for guests to make their own perfect pour. It was such a fun touch that felt personal and totally her.
Florals were everywhere, not just in the decor, but in the experience. Guests were invited to visit a bloom bar and make their own mini bouquets in bud vases to take home. It was such a sweet, interactive touch that added to the joy of the afternoon.
One of the standout photo spots was the dreamy blue flower wall from Long Island Flower Wall, finished with a Bride to Be sign. Bridget, the owner, shared: “I always encourage my brides to choose colors that complement their overall decor and centerpieces. It really ties everything together beautifully. And when it comes to bridal showers—we love color! A vibrant photo op is always a hit. It catches the eye and gives guests a fun spot to snap memorable photos.”
For Sophia’s day, the “Something Blue” wall paired perfectly with the rest of her soft blue accents and added such a pop to the space. Bridget mentioned it’s one of their most popular choices for brides-to-be — and it’s easy to see why!
Sophia wore cutest pair of light blue Gucci heels that matched the theme effortlessly and brought the whole look together in the most fun way.
Her bridal party and family went all out with one of the most thoughtful surprises: a full-on honeymoon wardrobe setup. There was a custom chest with her future last name, a full clothing rack, dresses, shoes, swimsuits, a custom jean jacket! They even included Steve Madden and Jimmy Choo heels. You could tell how much love and thought went into it.
Sophia looked absolutely stunning from the moment she arrived to the very last dance. Her glam, done by gabkglam, was soft, glowing, and timeless. When I asked Gab about doing makeup for special events she said, “As a makeup artist, I love helping everyone feel most confident for all of life’s special events. For Sophia, I focused on enhancing her natural beauty, keeping her looking like herself but even more radiant.” When it comes to special events like this, professional makeup really does make a difference, not just for how it photographs, but for how it makes you feel walking into the room.
Towards the end of the shower, Sophia’s fiancé arrived with 100 red roses, the sweetest gesture that had everyone smiling.
Fun fact! Riley and Sophia’s moms are best friends, and these two have known each other since they were kids. Full circle moment!
The shoe game brought plenty of laughs, and the speeches even brought a few tears. A fun touch was the DJ, who played all the right songs and had everyone on the dance floor. This wasn’t just a shower, it truly felt like a celebration.
Every part of the day was thoughtful and full of joy. I’m so glad I got to be there to document it all, from the details to the little in-between moments Sophia can now look back on forever.
